Hats Off to Grenada’s First Ever Honorary Consul of Mexico!

May 26, 2014

The team at True Blue Bay Boutique Resort compliments Magdalena Fielden and family (owners of the hotel) on her recent appointment as Honorary Consul.

On May 23rd, 2014, the opening ceremony of the Honorary Consulate Office of the United Mexican States in Grenada was held at True Blue Bay Boutique Resort. The event was graced by Grenada's Governor General, Her Excellency Dame Cécile La Grenade, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Business, Honorable Nicholas Steel, His Excellency Luis Manuel Lopez Moreno, Ambassador of the United Mexican States for the OECS and Mr. Juan Jose Salgado, Consul of United Mexican States for St Lucia.

We anticipate that this new position will strengthen existing ties between Grenada and Mexico and we wish Mrs. Fielden all the best in her new position, we know she will do well.

The new Mexican Honorary Consul Office for Grenada is now located at True Blue Bay Boutique Resort.
