As part of the first Grenada Nutmeg Festival celebrations a Gala Cook Off was held which featured chefs from different hotels in Grenada competing to produce dishes that included nutmeg and other spices as key ingredients. We are happy to announce that the team from Dodgy Dock Restaurant and Lounge Bar was awarded first place and the challenge trophy in the final results of the competition.
Congratulations to team True Blue: Alicia Charles, Cardine Joseph, Judy Nossis, Makeba Edwards, Nallian Walters, Akim KIng and Pastry Chef Lucian Walters led by Chef Gary Birkett on your outstanding performance. Together they achieved a total score of 750 points over first-runner up Bash Restaurant (at Calabash) and second-runner up Savvy’s Restaurant (at Mount Cinnamon) who scored 719 and 609 points respectively.
